DAVID NUNO

David Nuno - Headshot

David Nuno is an internationally acclaimed performer, choreographer, and director.

With his extensive dance and aerial arts background, David took his talents on tour with The Young Americans, where he toured throughout Japan, South Korea, Canada and the United States working with youth of all ages in 3-day long performing arts workshops. Throughout his time with the group, David was a featured dancer and vocalist, performing in principal tracks on main stage and touring shows alike.

Throughout his time with the group, David was called upon to help choreograph and rehearse touring groups, maintain performance quality of main stage shows, and conceptualize new production numbers.  David's direction, choreography, and musical staging can still be seen on companies around the world.

As an award winning choreographer, David's skill-set has been in-demand by competitive dance teams, performing arts companies, and show choirs around the country.  At the age of 19, in his first year in the competition dance circuit as a professional choreographer, David’s choreography was awarded National Grand Champion at KAR Dance's national invitationals in Las Vegas, NV.  Since then, David's choreography and students have been awarded countless national and regional titles, including Most Creative Concept at the Precision Arts Challenge Omaha 2024, Entertainment Award at Ovation Omaha 2024, Choreography Award at Brav0! Additionally, his work with co-collaborators Ryan Pochop and Aubrey Fink, brought home top awards for Guys and Dolls Jr.
