RYAN POCHOP
Ryan Pochop is an internationally renowned Music Director, Arranger, and Music Producer currently located in Omaha, NE.
Ryan began touring with the music outreach group, The Young Americans, in 2017. During his time with the group, he toured nationally and internationally to Japan, Germany, Poland, Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, and the United States, teaching and performing in music outreach workshops.
While on tour, Ryan began to write and arrange music for the group, and his arrangements have been heard around the world and sung by tens of thousands of workshop participants and cast members alike
Throughout his 9 tours, Ryan also served as a Staging Director, Vocal Arranger, and Band Leader at the Boyne Highlands Dinner Theater, one of America's longest running dinner theater programs.
Since graduating, Ryan has been the acting Associate Music Director for the international music outreach organization, HEART Global, which specializes in youth music education across the globe. He has produced 9 international tours that have taken place in Japan, Germany, Poland, England, Ireland, and Scotland.
Most recently, under his tenure as the Resident Music Director at the Rose Studios for Youth Artists, Ryan's work with the junior competition team took home Best in Music at the 2024 Junior Theater Festival West. Ryan also music directed Junie B.'s Essential Survival Guide to School Jr., at the 2024 New Works Showcase, performed by the senior competition team.
Ryan's work as a freelance music director has been seen on stages around the Omaha area, most notably Elkhorn Community Theater, where he was nominated for Outstanding Music Direction for The Wedding Singer at the Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards in 2024. He also works with multiple schools across the state creating rehearsal and performance tracks for show choirs, concert choirs, and theatre departments. Most recently, his work in collaboration with Broadway Music Director Matthew Croft on the new musical medley, Stories to Song, premiered in the fall of 2023 in downtown Omaha.
Ryan graduated from The Young Americans College of the performing arts with a degree in Vocal Performance, as well as a B.S. in Music Production from Full Sail University.
